The North Africa Research Group is a collaboration of researchers from the University of Manchester, Heriot Watt, and TU Delft. We also cooperate on selected projects with a number of other universities.

NARG was founded in 2000 to undertake petroleum related research in North Africa. The core of the group is based at the University of Manchester and comprises University research staff, postdoctoral researchers and postgraduate research students.

Our academics are leaders in their field, most bringing considerable industry experience. The group has been fortunate to have very high quality PhDs and PostDocs, many of whom have gone on to join leading oil companies or becoming successful academics.

For current opportunities within the group see the News page.
