Offshore Morocco seismic analysis to begin in 2015

ONHYM have provided an extensive dataset of 2D seismic and wells offshore Morocco to contribute to the regional Cretaceous Source to Sink Study.

New PhDs at Manchester, Tu Anh Nguyen (who is funded by a Schlumberger Foundation Scholarship) and Leonardo Muniz Pichel (funded through the Brazilian government) will commence interpretation of the data in January, examining the basin evolution, depositional systems and studying salt distribution and mobility/ timing.
