Through the University of Manchester, Schlumberger is providing both Petrel 3D reservoir modeling software (Windows) and the Geoframe, Charisma and IESX Seismic interpretation software (Linux). Both are industry standard packages with a large data processing capability.
Geosoft provide us with Oasis Motaj geophysical processing and mapping software. This has the ability to use GIS plugins and is widely used in the hydrocarbon exploration and mining industries.
InnovMETRIC has provided Polyworks. This is a powerfull 3D point cloud processing software, which enables the accurate 3D merging of huge point cloud datasets.
RiSCAN PRO is used in conjunction with RIEGL’s LMS-Z 3D Laser scanner imaging system (LiDaR). The software allows for the operating and processing of the huge data point clouds that are produced.
Beicip-Franlab: Beicip provides basin modeling software (used in the Ghadames basin modeling project). Two items of software are used; GENEX (a 1D modeling package for PC workstation), and TemisPak (a 2D modeling package for Unix workstation).
Terrasciences is providing TerraStation software ( PC workstation), which can be used for the display, analysis, and editing of well log and geological data; borehole image processing; creating cross sections, maps, and other displays.
ENRES is providing CycloLog®, a Windows based, interactive, user-friendly mathematical software tool. It allows the charaterisation of distinct parts of wireline log data. and contains a functions toolbox for geological interpretation of wireline logs.
